Lakewood Office Description: RMC-West is located on the 4th floor at 12596 West Bayaud Ave in Lakewood, CO. Lakewood is the 5th largest city in the state of Colorado, located immediately West of Denver.
About Lakewood: It is at an elevation of 5,800’ (1,770m) above sea level. Average temperatures range from the mid 80’s (30C) in the summer to the low 40’s (6C) in the winter. Its population is about 150,000. Founded in 1889 as Jefferson City, and shortly after changed to Lakewood, it lacks a traditional downtown area and instead formed around west Colfax Avenue which served as the main route from Denver into the mountains. Its many lakes, streams, and biking/hiking trails make it a popular place for outdoor recreation.

Directions from the Denver Airport (DEN):
- By Car: Take Pena Boulevard to I-80 West. Take I-70 West to I-25 South then to US-6 West. Exit US-6 West on Simms St. Take Simms St South (it turns into Union Blvd) to Center St. Take Center St. West past van Gordon St. until you turn North into the parking lot.
- By Train: Go down to the “A-Train” at DIA. Take the A-Train all the way to Union Station. From there, walk to the station to take the W-Train towards the Jefferson County Government Center. Take the W-Train to the Federal Center Station. From the Federal Center Station, take a taxi to the RMC offices or walk West on 2nd Street, South on Van Gordon Street, then West on Bayaud Ave to the RMC offices.
